About Evan
Scheiern Custom Construction is a licensed builder based in Cedar, Michigan, owned and run by Evan Scheiern. We’ve been building and remodeling homes in Northern Michigan since 1991. It’s a second-generation family business, and Evan is a Leelanau County native.
Evan learned the trade and the business from family and from ten years building custom mountain homes in Steamboat Springs, Colorado.
When you hire us, you work with Evan directly, from the first walkthrough to the final punch list. A small, steady crew does the work, so the people who start your project are the ones who finish it. We’re a licensed residential builder (License #242500706) and fully insured.
From custom homes and additions to remodels, decks, and painting through subsidiary Scheiern Custom Coatings, if you can picture it, we can build it.
